Please go over these safety guidelines carefully before joining Animal Crossing Fun!.
1. Never reveal personal information. No matter how comfortable you have become with someone, never tell them your phone number, where you live (or your school/college) or make arrangements to meet in real life. If you are in an uncomfortable situation, please ignore that person (block them) and report them on the "Report Abuse" page.
1.1 [Revealing phone number]
1.2 [Revealing school/college/location]
1.3 [Making arrangements to meet in real life]
2. No stealing/seeding. This goes for playing on WiFi on Animal Crossing Wild World or City Folk. If a member steals on WiFi, the best thing you should do is report them on the "Report Abuse" page.
2.1 [Taking items without permission]
2.2 [Taking items when told not to]
2.3 [Seeding]
3. No offensive material. This goes for your profile and the forums/threads/chat. This does not go for SPAM. If there is a problem with spam, please mouse over the spam post and click "Flag". Since chat is available to anonymous users; if someone is using offensive language in chat (also bearing the name "IRC"), only report them if you have a link to their profile on Animal Crossing Fun.
3.1 [Using offensive words or threatening]
3.2 [Attacking any ethnic group, religion, race, etc]
3.3 [Posting links to inappropriate websites or pictures]
3.4 [Using an inappropriate profile picture]
4. Never give out or ask for a password. Never believe any member who says they will lend you a benefit/special or rare item on WiFi for your Animal Crossing Fun password. You may end up losing your account, after all. If you know someone who has or is giving out their password, or someone who is asking for your password, report them on the "Report Abuse" page.
4.1 [Giving out password]
4.2 [Asking for password]
5. No moderator/administrator/site owner impersonation. Moderators will always be marked with the sticker "Moderator" under their display name on the members list. Administrators will always be marked with the sticker "Administrator" under their display name on the members list. Site owners will always be marked with the sticker "Site Owner" under their display name on the members list. SITE OWNERS AND MODERATORS WILL NEVER ASK FOR YOUR PASSWORD. (this corresponds to rule number 4) Someone pretending to be a moderator/site owner may ask for your password because there is a "bug" or "glitch" on your account, but they are really trying to steal your account. Please report them on the "Report Abuse" page so we can take action.
5.1 [Impersonating a moderator]
5.2 [Impersonating an administrator]
5.3 [Impersonating a site owner]
